First an apology, I can't believe it is over a year since I wrote in this blog. So much has happened and I have been busy with personal and family matters that took me away from my art. I have been completing commissions and I have been involved in some lovely exhibitions.
I am currently involved in Open Studios at Florence Arts Centre again with Rachel Metcalfe, Clare Parker and Nanette Madan.
Earlier in the year we had a successful exhibition together called Saltwater in The Shipping Brow.
I had a solo show in Gallery 9 in Whitehaven.
This month I am featured in Cumbria Life Magazine again. This time there is a lovely write up about my postcard project. I have a stall at The Cumbria Life Fair in October.
I have a lovely exhibition this month with Angela Strange of Strange Ceramics. We are sharing the feature wall in Lowes Court Gallery and we will be in the Gallery on the morning of Friday 25th to talk to visitors.
I have a new outlet in Keswick. I am now selling my mapscapes in Gallery Viridian
I am coordinating a project to celebrate Whitehaven's link to Gulliver's Travels with a treasure hunt around Whitehaven looking for Lilliputians.
I will be showing a collection in Whitehaven's new Gallery 9 in October of Whitehaven paintings. They will include some of my paintings and some that I have bought from other local artists.
